Tibetan Woman Convert and Color Description: 1. Selected the woman in color using pen tool and copied to clipboard. 2. When I changed the image to B/W the scarf on the left and the row of scarves and 2 hats on the right were too bright and distracting. Selected these items individually and made brightness/contrast and levels adjustments to them to neutralize them. 3. Stamp visible layer. Applied radial blur zoom at 20. 4. Pasted woman. Edges were too sharp (particularly on bottom and sleeves), so I copied this layer and applied radial blur zoom at 30 to soften them. Used eraser on the sharp image to soften the edges… better. Copied the zoomed layer and did edit/transform/scale to make it a little larger. Zoom layers below sharp layer. 5. The dark line in upper right annoyed me. Selected with lasso, made curves adjustment and changed mode to Lighten. Applied Gaussian blur at 200 to soften the edges. Uploaded on 6/20/2010 10:01:26 AM
