Description

Birds of Prey of Africa
As the sun goes down
Just below these two Vultures was a dead Zebra,
On the tree next to them was another five or six birds and a few Vultures on the ground were attacking the carcass.

Taken with a 300 zoom lens

Hi Kim, I really like that you centered these two vultures and silhouetted them/tree... awesome shot! The reason why I like them centered is because vultures to me are big bird beasts and always seem to be sitting in 'waiting or circling' for their chance for victory! The contrast between the beautiful oranges/purpley sunsetting is fantastic!!!
A winner for sure!!!

G'day *KIM*!

I spotted this striking silhouette in the WEYG Club.
A breathtaking scene with the jet black silhouette of the bare tree and two vultures against a fiery sky standing out so clearly and cleanly.
To me the image is symbolic of the heat and harshness of Nature.
