Looks like the work of several artists. Very nice. #1276860

Very cute art work and concept Rita. This is a good one to stretch your post processing skills on. Want to give it a go?

First copy and paste (or clone) in the lower right corner. Then apply a 3x5 crop which will reduce the foreground. (This is optional depending on how well the next thing goes)

Select and clone the orange crayon that is by the sunflower and copy, rotate and paste and it against the bottom edge of the shot under the sunflower. Then change it's color to purple using the hue adjustment in the hut/saturation tool.

Try it with and without the crop to see which you like better. #8681325

Geeze! What do I know about color? Nothing. When you use the hue control you'll get closer to pink than to purple which is better anyway. :o) #8681328

I like this as presented, but of course, WLTSDS. . . . . #8681571

Such a wonderful idea to take a photo of this picture with the crayons! I'd love to see what Dales suggestions do to this and would also like to add that it may look good with some posterization on it. :~) I'm sure this setup is long gone, but I think I would have liked the focus to be more on the drawing than the crayon for this, but that may just be me. #8682181

This is really a FUN image!! One I totally appreciate as my kids are often leaving their masterpieces and crayons laying around!! :) Looking forward to see how Dale's suggestions add to this image! #8682413

My kitchen table always looks like this . . . only it's markers instead of crayons and not quite so neat!

I'm interested to see Dale's suggestions. Though I think it's good as it is. However I'm wondering if these were the crayons used to color the pictures since they look brand new! :) #8682663

I like it in both concept and execution. While just a touch more DOF might have helped it a bit, I too like it as presented. Color and clarity are good for the most part and it is a very clean looking shot.

I am also interested in seeing Dale's suggestions. #8683281

ok I tried to do what Dale suggested but I didn't like the crop so I kept it the same.

I have added another picture the reason the original post had the bottom left open is because I clone out half of her name as you can see in the second picture. #8684327

Glad to see you trying some stuff Rita. The changes are not what I was suggesting so will send an email to show you what I had in mind. The copied crayon in this version doesn't work because of the shadow. #8684433

I'll have to agree with Dale on the copied crayon. Looking at it makes me feel like I'm upside down. Love the other shot . . . My kids label their pictures too. Funny! #8684726

I like that she added a © on her drawing. #8685431

LOL...yeah that is cute....I didn't even see it at first. I like both images....but artisticly the first is better in my humble opinion. :~) #8686004

Ok, very curious now what Dale had in mind...hope it will somehow be posted! It's always fun to learn some new techniques, and he's the one to teach them!

Meanwhile, this is a terrific image, Rita...there is nothing so fun as the art of children. Lovely presentation!

thank you Patricia, you are right about a child presentation. I won't be posting anything else to this thread #8697780
