A beautiful smile on a beautiful lady. You must be such a inspiration to others undergoing chemo.
You will be in my prayers Sharon. #8679267

I used to have the same haircut! This is a beautiful portrait of a beautiful woman going through one of the greatest physical and emotional challenges she will ever face. Strength and dignity are what I see. Beautiful! #8679717

Stength, courage, and inspiration - a powerful recipe for healing. Outstanding portrait! Hail be the American Cancer Society's fundraisers like Relay for Life - there has to be a way to beat this! In three weeks we will be celebrating survivors and walking for a cure here in SW Michigan. Join the fight . . . #8680289

Thank you all for your comments. This lovely lady is my son's girlfriend's mom who is undergoing treatments for breast cancer. She was courageous enough to let me take some portraits of her without her wig. Even though it is not one of the happier times, it is a very special time in her life, and as we know, pictures speak volumes, and she is an inspiration to others. My mom also went though treatments for breast cancer two years ago. I know how hard it is and the strength it takes to get through it. Ever year on Mother's Day, in Pittsburgh we walk in the Susan B Komen Walk for the Cure. I can't think of a better way to celebrate my mom and her life. Peter, my dad has had colon cancer as well. Bless you, and stay healthy. I will post another picture today from this session of this women and her two girls. #8681744
