Description

Congratulations to all the Finalists.
Re-entered into Nature Landscapes July 2012.
I spotted an old telephone booth in the middle of nowhere when visiting a winery at the Hunter Valley during a wine festival. To say I was dumbfounded was an understatement lol. lol. lol. or perhaps it was the wine I tasted at midday so needed to pinch myself thus Graham took the shot

LOL I thought at first I was hallucinating Avril, not expecting to see an old telephone booth like that.

I bet it was left e from days long by, I should have asked the history of it but everyone was so busy.

The scenery in our Hunter Valley vineyards is just stunningly beautiful, and you have captured it here to perfection, Graham!! :o)

Great editing work, too, Pat...and I think I've seen that phone box up there before!! I don't think I've actually photographed it, though...maybe next time - lol!! ;o)

How fun! Well...let's look at this a moment...The phone is on a curve in the road and there is a post there. Right? :) And this road is the exit for the wine tasters of the day. They say about half of them end up drinking too much. So maybe they figure if folks taste too much wine and they hit the post at the corner they can stop right there and call a cab??? HeeHee....
