Description

Hooting Frog (Heleioporus barycragus) rescued from our swimming pool. The name comes from the sound it makes, like an owl.

He looks very grateful, Barbara. He also appears to be smiling for the camera! My next door neighbor once brought over a bucket filled with about 15 tiny baby snapping turtles that he rescued from his pool and thought we would like to have them in our pond. Jeepers! #1272113
