Description

Another shot of one of my favorite falls in the Cumberland Falls region in southern Kentucky. Not the most pleasant name for these beautiful falls, but the anecdotal story is that a hunter named the falls when lost his dogs tracking a bear. It is not clear whether the dogs were lost in battle or they just fell over during the chase, but he called the place dog slaughter falls and the name stuck. Wide angle HDR.
