Description

The variety of ornamental gardens on the grounds of this French château is so very interesting. Today's entry was taken from the east, looking across the expanse of gardens to the village of Villandry itself. The area with decorative hedges in the foreground is called the Love Garden.

I'm taken by your use of the garden as foreground, and I like the whole very much in black and white. I thought at first that perhaps the garden was a maze, but I can't see how one could walk through there, as tight as the elements are to one another. For that matter, I wonder how they manage to get in to prune it. #8632297
