Thanks everyone!! Laura, I have not often had good results with that filter either. However, this photo had some things that really detracted from the photo....the boats fixing stuff on the river, etc....so I tried a few things and got to that one and fooled about with it a lot. Was not sure I would put it in gallery, but am glad I did as I would like comments both good and bad, on it. Like to know what other photographers think about using such filters on photos such as this.... kk #1573961

I cannot comment on the use of filters, KK, as the only filters I seem to know about are the ones that I have to change frequently to keep the airconditioning operational.
I can say that I really like the photograph and agree with Terry that it would be beautiful framed.
