Wow, I just don't get this at all. How is this even a photograph at this point? I mean, the whole thing could have been done in a couple of minutes by starting with a blank canvas in Photoshop. I really dislike the fact that this is even being considered photography and even more so that it is being rewarded. I'm also very disappointed in this site, since there's hardly ever even a minor critique of the photos, just endless gushing, even when they have obvious faults. #1765188

Matt and Tony, I am sorry you feel this way about this image, but it is acceptable to apply PS effects on photographs on this site, check out the images in the digital darkroom category and you'll see what I mean. Anyway, even though my opinion differs from you in regards to this type of image, I do appreciate you guys stopping by and letting me know your thoughts.
