What do you think about this photo? #284817

Hey!

You've been busy! Your gallery is full of great pics.

I like this one's title ... i'm assuming the leaf was sliding along the curb ... which (in my imaginings) might be what took your attention to the curb and the colors.

The large area around the leaf does leave room to imagine movement and the angle of the curb also adds to the idea of a slide ... and if there was something there that is known to move ... like a toy car or a marble the immediate anticipation of movement would naturally happen.

but since the leaf doesn't have wheels or any other attachment associated with moving ... you might have to help the viewer along with the idea even more ... so that the title is less needed in order to convey the idea.

there's only two ideas I can think of.

first ... put the leaf in visual center ... (see my blog) ... so that the eye is quicker to settle on it and expect something from it and ...

second ... while keeping the same diagonal angle of the curb through the image ... get a little closer and show a view that is either in front of or behind the leaf (depending on the direction you want the viewer to expect the leaf to slide)

Drop me notes from time to time as you update your gallery. I'm enjoying watching your talents grow.

have fun,
