Description

Submitted for the PG101 From Above theme.
I took this from the Prudential Tower -- what a great view of this beautiful city. That's the Hancock Building in the center and Boston Commons to the left of it. Trinity Church is the red roofed building to the left of the Hancock; Copley Square, Boston Public Library and the Copley Plaza Hotel are to the right of Copley Square. Thanks to Dave Phalen and Jessica Jenney for the help in identifying landmarks in this image.

Beautiful, wonderful colors, I remember when the Prudential Tower was called the Plywood Tower. The windows keep blowing out and they where at that time just putting up plywood. Have some old shots of it then, some where. LOL HTD :O) #8536881

An amazing shot of Boston with outstanding color and details!! I see many familiar places I know well...Trinity Church (the red roofed building to the left of the Hancock), Copley Square, Boston Public Library and the Copley Plaza Hotel to the right of Copley Square where my future wife and I visited the Merry-Go-Round bar often. It is long gone now.(: #8537947

Magnificent POV, lighting, sharpness of Boston, Nikki. The Hancock Building is really an eye-catcher and you caught our eyes. I've never seen Boston looking so clear. Must have been after a rain storm when the atmosphere is cleansed of smog...or your wonderful use of Photoshop and plug-ins.

Beautiful theme entry. #8539360

Just so no one else is confused -- this is not a finalist (though it would be nice if Rona turned out to be a seer!) -- I just entered it two days ago :) It's just next to my finalists in my gallery right now.
Thanks to everyone for the enthusiasm for it, though. #8547176
