Fish on the beach at Sunset

Uploaded: July 02, 2005

Description

f4.1, 1/50s, 12 mm, ISO 320, sunset on the beach at Onondaga Lake, Liverpool, NY I cranked up the saturation on these, way up. The colors were actually there, orange from the sunset, blue from the shadows. I pasted several fish together that were near each other but not close enough to be in a single shot. And I applied texture. This is my idea of fun on the beach. I hope it doesn't offend people who have divergent ideas.

Mary, Mary. Trust your own art and vision. To heck with what the rest of us are seeing, this is your voice. I personally think it is beautifully rendered and the colors are very appealing. Fun way to see a fish! You go girl. #1547232

WOW! Thanks Katherine! I really appreciate it. I do ahead and do my own work and trust my own vision, but then when it comes to displaying it, I get a little nervous. LOL Mary :-) #1547541

I like how you "played" with the saturation ... trust your self! For me it is standing, would be nice in a Fish-Bar! #1547564

Great abstract Mary, I love it! Seems there were a lot of fish on that beach. Did they get washed up or did some fishermen throw them out. How come the gulls didn't get them? I love finding STUFF on the beach but around here we rarely see fish. #1551891
