Don't Overlook the Small Stuff
Description: During a photo hike at Broken Hill Trail in Torrey Pines, CA, I first noticed this small flower very close to the ground. While taking pictures the small insect came into view. So far I have not been able to identify the flower or the insect.

Taken with a D7000 using a 70-300VR handheld. Some cropping was done in CS6.
