About David Ross
I love photography! I started at an early age, probably because my father was a professional photographer. He gave me a great foundation to build on; teaching me how to use the aperture, shutter, ISO, depth of field, light and most important - how to relate all of these variables to get that perfect photograph.
In the late 80s computers came into my life and I worked very hard teaching myself the ins and outs of the computer and Photoshop 2.5. I worked in a professional photo lab honing my Photoshop skills, but I left my camera sitting in a drawer for too many years. Now I use Photoshop CS and thanks to my sister, who gave me a digital camera, I am back taking photos.
I just love digital photography. I no longer think about the cost of film and developing. The perfect day to me is up early to catch the sunrise; then spend time looking for that one shot to talk about and finish with a sunset to end a perfect shooting day. Just close your eyes and imagine that.
