I am a small animal veterinarian by profession. I have had a deep appreciation for art and photography for a long time, but my interest has really deepened since I became involved with digital photography a few years ago. My first "serious" camera was a Fuji Finepix 602z and in the last year I purchased a Canon Digital Rebel. I think that both allow for a wonderful range of artistic expression. I really enjoy the community here at BetterPhoto and I am very happy to be a part of it.
