Ever since I started watching painting shows on TV, everything I saw suddenly became a photo in my mind. However, the vision somehow never transferred to film the way I saw it. So-o-o-o I decided to do something about it. Began reading every book I could get my hands on by great photographers like Shaw, Fielder, and Petterson.As my interest grew I was assisted by my Son-in-law, Norm, who had the same aspirations. Together we started a quest to become better photographers. We continue to grow. My other interests, other than my loving family, is my love for Barbershop Harmony. As a long time member of "The Winning Combination" Barbershop Quartet I was still busy singing at 73, but am sad to say that the quartet is no longer performing since the passing of our beloved bass singer, Marshall. Thank goodness for my growing photographic family at places like BetterPhoto to keep my spirits and interests high. Now, at 78, I'm still as enthusiastic as ever and plan to continue for the next 20 years at least.
