Flower Fly
These little insects are all over my garden this year and do a great job pollinating...There are about 900 different species of flower flies in North America...Their characteristic flight pattern of hovering and abruptly changing positions makes them a bit hard to capture but fun to watch when they approach a flower then abruptly change their minds and head for another!
