Designs of the City - Second Place Finalist in May
Since I'm always up to my eyebrows in florals, Nature and Seniors I thought I'd approach something a bit more in contrast to what I usually frame. My oldest had an assignment for her university in math to find some structural designs to photograph so I tagged along to explore some angles, texture, color and mood of the city with variations of vantage, framing and time of day shot. We stayed downtown for awhile moving around the different architecture from Modern lines, ornate, rustic and reflective to historical integrity. I even ended up being the target of a flying foe by the end of our five hour walk at the end of the evening hours in downtown Sacramento in northern California. This was one of favorite buildings in design and tone.
