Bird on Post
This close-up of the bird I posted yesterday was sitting on the handrail of the steps on my front porch, near his/her nest. I captured the image at 1:05 p.m. on 4-5-2009, an overcast day.
Camera: hand held, Canon 55-250 IS lens set at 250 mm, matrix metering, aperture priority (f/5.6), 1/250, ISO set on AUTO (640). Such a high ISO created a lot of noise in the dark areas of the photo but allowed me to get a very sharp image. I wish I knew how to get a sharp image without the noise! I'll appreciate any instructions!!!
Edited with Adobe PSE 7 (quick fix) and cropped with Picasa 3.
