Fire Flower
ISO100,Cloudy,Manual,f/4,1/6sec,100mm Macro lens @@ I'm not sure of the name of this flower, but I was tired of seeing normal shots of flowers, so I tried to come up with something different. Once I started looking at this flower, I noticed it looked like a flame dancing in a fire - so I used a smaller aperture to blur most of the flower, but left some of the petals in the back clear. I held up a piece of blue construction paper behind the flower to block out the dullness of my living room walls. This was taken in front of my living room window on a cloudy day.
