Blue Morpho Winner Like the peacock, the iridescent blue on the backs of the wings of this beautiful butterfly is not caused by pigment but rather by microscopic scales which reflect light. I filled in the black around the leaves but the butterfly itself is untouched. I photographed this magnificent specimen at the Henry Doorly Zoo. Category: Details and Macro
