A’mazing Balsamroot
This “Maze” is a combination of two photos that have been digitally manipulated, and each the other half of a Daedalus generated maze. One photo is originally of a Balsamroot, a common wildflower in the Cascade Mountains within Washington, taken by resting a Canon 10D on the ground, with it set at ISO 100 and using a macro lens. The image then was transformed primarily by using the Abode PhotoShop plug-in, Fractalius. The other photo is of Christmas tree lights taken by zooming a tripod-mounted Canon 10D set at ISO 400 and 4 seconds, with the resulting image transformed by using Abode PhotoShop plug-ins. Entered into the “Digital Darkroom” category.
