Brown Creeper Gleaning
ISO 800, f/8, 1/640 sec, Canon 400mm DO IS lens + 1.4X extender, handheld. These birds are relatively common, but sometimes hard to find, and (for me at least) very difficult to photograph. This bird happened to be working up a tree right by the trail. They climb up trees in similar fashion to woodpeckers, and dig small insects out of the crevices.
