After the Storm
Late afternoon on the Upper Niagara River, after an ice storm. Despite the weather, I loved the way everything glistened with a thick coating of ice. The sun was able to peek through the foreboding clouds, brightening the ice-coated treetops below. The Canadian coastline can be seen in the distance. This was taken just hours before another snowstorm arrived. January 2007
