Black Rhinoceros
The Black Rhino is on the endangered species list due to poaching for their horn. This magnificent animal has inhabited the earth for 60 million years and humans have managed to endanger them in less than 100 years. I included the mud hole for a reason. The rhinos will roll in the mud to cake their skin to protect it from the sun and heat as well as flies. I saw on NBC last week that there is only one male WHITE Rhino left in the world and he is under constant guard protection in a Zimbabwe preserve. Humans are so cruel to other species as well as our own.
