Australian Flooded Gum Tree.
The tree at the end of the walkway, is New South Wales tallest known tree. It is estimated to be approximately 400 years old, and has a height of 86m or 282 feet, and its girth is 8.5m or 28 feet. This photo was taken 10 years ago, so I guess it would be a bit taller now.
It is located in the Bulahdelah State Forest, which is now controlled by the National Parks and Wildlife Service.
