Six Mile Marsh Mallows
When I was working in New Jersey, I traveled the NJ Turnpike for 40 miles each way. At one point I saw this roadside wildflower meadow on the right and determined to pull over and photograph it. According to my GPS the field was six miles from my destination. It took me many days to be in the right position to pull over, and finally I did. On the road shoulder I could feel the earth shake when the 18-wheelers rumbled by. But I persevered and survived. The shot was beautiful enough but I recently manipulated it using a TOPAZ filter which filled the entire frame with the meadow.
