Delicate Remnants of Life
This is a portion of the rock wall that bordered my childhood home. A home that had seen four generations of my family starting with my great grandfather.
The new owners bulldozed the house and trucked away the rock wall that had been there over a hundred years. Some of the handcut stones were over three feet long. I took this shortly after the house had been bulldozed. Delicate remnants of a life that once had been.
