Port Side View
-----
From the port side of the bow of the Battleship USS New Jersey, now a floating museum on the bank of the Delaware River in Camden, NJ.
----
The view here if of Philadelphia's Penns Landing, so named because it marks the spot where, in the late 17th Century, Pennsylvania's founder, William Penn would typically anchor his boat when he travelled from his home in Bucks County.
-----
Moored at the landing now are several historical ships. In view here are from left: The barque Moshulu (1904-the world’s oldest and largest square rigged sailing vessel still afloat), now a posh floating restaurant.
---
And to her right is the Spanish-American War-era cruiser USS Olympia (C-6). This and other ships are part of Philadelphia's Independence Seaport Museum.
