Into the Drink
Still adding to my cross-polarization photo portfolio. In this example of cross-polarization there is one plastic champagne glass that has been photographed using that technique, which in turn was treated with the Droste Effect, creating that spiral. And then the original photo of the plastic champagne glass was added back in, hopefully in such a way that it looks like the spiral is going “Into the Drink.” The image was captured with a 72mm polarizing filter on my 150mm-macro lens attached to a DSLR (digital single lens reflex) camera set at ISO 400 and f/16. Entered into “Digital Darkroom” category.
