Sunset on the farm
I took the picture of the barn at sundown. The moon was higher in the sky and quite bright. When I exposed for the moon, it under exposed the barn. So I took separate images of the moon (properly exposed) and separate images of the barn and then combined the two images. The moon was a bright orange when I shot it but I had to tone it down to match the picture of the barn. I also used the transform tool to make the moon smaller. I shot the moon with a 300 mm lens on my Olympus OM-5 (600 mm with the smaller sensor). I shot the barn at the same focal length, however the size looked too big, so I made it smaller.......I was able to hand hold the camera for the moon shot and the barn shot as the Olympus has an excellent image stabilization built into the camera body.
