--- In Philadelphia, New Year's Day MEANS: The MUMMERS' PARADE!!!! ---- And AFTER the parade (in the frigid streets), there's the Mummers' FANCY BRIGADE competition inSIDE the Convention Center. This is the second year that I have been privileged to shoot the "Fancies" with Bill. It's three hours of colorful, musical extravaganza to delight your eyes, your ears, and your IMAGINATIONS! --- Fancy Brigade sets and costumes are VERY elaborate, with each costume costing upwards of a thousand dollars. ---- Uploaded on 1/6/2013 5:46:31 AM
