Lady in Beauty Shop: Elective
I was invited to a display of hair products such as shampoos. It was difficult for me to photograph because the lighting was very low and I could not use a flash. I set my ISO as high as I could and then worked the pictures in Define to take out as much noise as possible. I took quite a few pictures of the models on the runway and the different hairstylist. I made a slideshow and everyone was extremely pleased. I made a Triptech of one of the models. I started out with my wide angle, but decided to use my 70-200 as I could get a better closeup (I could not get on the runway) and used a shallow depth of field 2.8 and prayed (I was not commissioned for this but I happened to have my camera).
Lens: Ef 70-200; Exposure for the middle picture: f2.8 at 1/4000 sec; ISO: 6400
