Raptor in Flight HDR A former Editor's Pick re-done in HDR. The Grey-faced Buzzard Eagle photo was taken in Okinawa, Japan NOV 13, 2012. f/11 1/400 ISO 100 with a Pentax K5, tripod and Sigma 50-500 at 500mm. Using the original RAW file, I created three JPEGs. One at perfect exposure, a -2 exposure and a +2 exposure value. The three were then combined using Photomerge in Adobe Elements 8. I re-cropped, raising the bird higher in the scene, adjusted light and contrast and flipped the photo horizontally.
