Salt Mines in Poland. This is looking down the stairwell of the nine levels. They are still mining salt in the mines.We climbed down the third level which took over an hour on wooden stair. It took 43 seconds to come up in the elevator.
They had beautiful carvings the miners had made and a full church over a mile under. It was beautiful.
They also take children with artitis and they spend up six hours a day in room's that are made for them. It helps them with their artitis.
Google Poland Salt mines and you can see them on U tube. IT was so awesome to see work of the miners carved many centuries ago.
