Icelandic Gothic The Hallgrímskirkja church is a fantastic sight from the outside, and just as impressive inside, where a gothic style takes over, in an unusually spare, unadorned way. Traditional rib vaulting takes on a modern feel and distinct look, with deep central cones formed by the smooth planes.
