School Days of the Past
Education can take place anywhere but these one room schools filled a basic need on the prairies.
This old school was built in 1914 in the Tuxedo School District Of Saskatchewan. Inside it has been vandalized but there are still remnants of the past to be found. Desks, chalkboards, photographs and even an old t.v. are still there.
The back side of the building has many windows overlooking the prairie. Some of the glass is still intact. As a retied teacher I can just imagine the good old school days and the many children that went through this one room school.
