Garnished Grackle Calico Creations #3 Foreground image elements; grackle photo and scanned calico fabric. Using different blend layers I applied the calico to the bird and masked the original background. Background elements; photo of my kitchen countertop, photo of cornstalks. I blended the cornstalks with the counter top photo and shifted the hue to a complimentary color. I applied a texture to the background. On a duplicate layer I masked the shape of the bird and applied a pillow emboss to that layer. Uploaded on 2/10/2012 6:37:27 AM
