Christmas Tree Bonfire
Chelan, Washington, every year about the middle of January hosts Winterfest, and on a Saturday evening they start a Christmas tree bonfire on the beach right before the polar bear plunge into Lake Chelan (which, was not for me). This image is actually 7-shots stacked to emphasis the escaping embers, captured with a DSLR (digital single lens reflex) camera set at ISO 400 and f/8 using a wide-angle zoom lens (12 to 24). Entered into the “Catch-All” category.
