HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO LEIF KJAER.
By Land and By Sea
He was a mighty sailing man
The Sea his mistress fair,
Golden sunsets shone upon
The waves he called her hair.
Alas the beauty she bestowed
Could fill a mans heart full,
She fed him with her fish at will
Her moon and tides did pull.
Yet something lacked within his heart
He could not find in her,
He came ashore to try and find
A love his heart to stir...
Now he lives upon the land
And walks along the shores,
With his maiden-sweet in hand
The Kirsten he adores.
Each sunset that gently sinks,
Into the Seas abyss
Oft' he gazes out to Sea
Remembering the bliss.
Then his heart comes back to place
Recalling all her storms,
Revenge she saught towards all fair men,
Oft without a warn.
He turns his head to gaze upon
His Kirsten with such glad.
She is the maiden that fills his heart.
With the love he never had.
