Balancing act
Last weekend I spent the mornings at Belmar Park, Lakewood. That's a great place for bird watching. I had planned on getting a capture of a Belted Kingfisher. But as usual, those "plans" never work. I have to take what I get and a lot of times there are things that surprises me. The first morning the trees on the little island was filled with Cormorants, but this morning the Snowy Egrets had taken over. They were mostly sitting, preening themselves, but now and then there was a little more activity. Like this one, stretching out one of the wings.
