Duncansby Stacks, Caithness, ScotlandAt 3.45am on a mid summers morning there isn't a sole around except of course the group of photographers joining me on a Caithness and Sutherland masterclass. It is difficult to convince folk I'm not a bread roll short of a picnic at times but fortunately this was one twilight venture that paid off handsomely. Pre-dawn the sky turned a sumptuous plum colour which combined beautifully with a delicate sea mist and the cool clamminess of twilight to create that eerie glow of the gloaming. The changing colours were spectacular right through to sunrise.
NEW!! Photographic workshops and masterclasses and fine art cards are now available at TRANSIENT LIGHT.
