Balsamroot Appreciation
In the spring, one can appreciate the golden carpet of Balsamroot flowers covering the Cascade foothills, for illustration, this shot taken up Ollala Canyon, near Dryden, WA. This cropped (19-shot) panorama was captured with a tripod using a homemade panoramic nodal bracket holding the DSLR (digital single lens reflex) camera with vertical grip vertically set at ISO 400 and f/22 using a wide-angle zoom lens (12 to 24). Entered into the “Nature & Landscapes” category.
