Ollala Canyon Panorama
In the month of May, the Cascade foothills are carpeted with golden Balsamroot flowers, for example, this shot taken up Ollala Canyon, near Dryden, WA. This cropped 30-shot panorama was captured with a tripod using a homemade panoramic nodal bracket holding the DSLR (digital single lens reflex) camera with vertical grip vertically set at ISO 400 and f/22 using a wide-angle zoom lens (12 to 24). Entered into the “Nature & Landscapes” category.
