These small songbirds inhabit all of the Hawaiian Islands. They are extremely energetic and always on the move (and difficult to photograph).
The song of this bird can be heard from a great distance and this is often how they are found. Their favorite foods are insects and nectar. I found them taking the nectar from the Aloe Vera plant.
