Awaiting Spring The silver birches on top of our nephew's hill, Mondovi, WI April 23 2011
This is a blend of two images. One was moving the camera up and down on a long exposure. The other was a normal one. I duplicated the final blend and added a touch of poster edge. With a mask on the total edge I filled it with black and then painted back in the main white and grey trunks so that it was just them that held on to the poster edge.
