PLU Lagerquist Hall 180 Panorama
The 2011 spring meeting of the Nature Photographers of the Pacific Northwest (NPPNW) was held at Pacific Lutheran University (PLU), in Lagerquist Hall. Interestingly, at the front of the Lagerquist concert hall in the Mary Baker Russell Music Center, is the Gottfried and Mary Fuchs Organ, installed and built by Paul Fritts and Co, in 1998. As an added bonus during the meeting, at 3:00 p.m. they played the pipe organ. This image is actually a crop of the 360-degree panorama captured with a tripod using a homemade panoramic nodal bracket holding the DSLR (digital single lens reflex) camera with vertical grip vertically set at ISO 400 and f/8 using a wide-angle zoom lens (12 to 24). Entered into the “Travel & Place” category.
