Island On An Island The largest island on an island in Washington is a small island in Lake Campbell on Fidalgo Island. This view of Lake Campbell is from the top of Mt Erie which is a city park operated by the City of Anacortes. The summit is accessible via a single-lane, paved road from the base. Mount Erie is the highest point on Fidalgo Island at 1,273 feet (388 meters) tall.
