Summer White House
Custer State Park is a state park and wildlife reserve in the Black Hills of southwestern South Dakota, USA. The park is South Dakota's largest and first state park, named after Lt. Colonel George Armstrong Custer. The park boasts several scenic drives that explore the diversity of the area. From the granite spires of Needles Highway to the bison along Wildlife Loop Road, we will explore this area in the next few days. This lodge was a Summer White House for President Coolidge, 1927 and President Eisenhower, 1953.
